Join me for an intimate small group meditation practice at my home in Hove. We end the practice with a freshly blended green smoothie.
Somatic (body-based) meditation is not about sitting silently on a cushion, feeling the pain in your spine, and doing nothing about it. We start the practice lying down to feel deeply into our soma, our physical and energetic body. We learn to release old patterns of tension that limit our awareness. We use the breath to discover the space within us, and come to recognise that we can connect very deeply with the sense of aliveness that pervades all things.
Learn practices such as 10-points, yin breathing, earth breathing, three-fold breathing, and 12-fold belly breathing. Inspired by Reggie Ray, this course is a great introduction to embodied meditation, which creates a stable foundation for living life fully and wholeheartedly.
Wear soft, spacious and comfy clothes that you can breathe in. Wear layers – our body temperature can drop during meditation.
