Through my many long years of recovery from food and body issues, I’ve learned some simple lessons.
The biggest lesson is that if I want to eat what I need - eat foods that I can comfortably digest and that support my physical, mental and emotional health, more of the time - then I need to feel what I feel.
Feeling what we feel is a practice. It’s something we can learn together. We stop, we wait and we turn our attention towards the sensation of our bodies.
